Artist statement

Writing on air and writing on water

The appearance and disappearance are simultaneous

The wordless text appears

Then dissolves.

 

On the wetness of the paper and pools of water and ink,

I render these paintings in layers.

In the physical world, nothing disappears without a trace.

Layers of matter settle.

 

Layers dry - fascinating and unexpected!

Just like each moment unfolds in time,

The physical work too, is here again, then gone.
